Changes of Anthropometric Parameters
The mean weight loss was 1,390 ± 60 g/day of FWD, whereas the mean urine discharge was 730 ± 80 g/day (fig. 6, table 2). Only 1 participant defecated daily, 4 participants twice (on day 1 and day 3), and 5 participants just once (on day 1). The mean stool discharge was 65 g/day. The remaining 595 g/day plus incorporated inspired O2 equal the insensible water loss plus expired CO2.
