The common saying is that glycogen stores are spent in the first 3 days of fasting, or so.
I did not see other references saying it can last much more than that.
But what I found surprising was the proposition (from Anik), saying that glycogen stores (from liver and muscles) can last much more. Even for a full fasting of 30 days.
But he added it only happens in a body capable to properly accumulate large amounts of glycogen. It means also (I think) a body with a correct carbohydrate metabolism and assimilation.
